its one of japan's festival

i took tis passage out to comamorate today

in japan.July seventh is known as 'Tanabata', and a legend exists tat a young man and woman, separated by the milky way, are only allowed to meet on this nite, in tis piece 'THE SEVENTH NITE OF JULY' the composer expresses the romantic legend linked to the summer nite sky. the alto sax and euphonium solos are intended to depict the man and woman in the legend.
