OAC `o6orienteering attached. `o6wee`it finally came to an end on o8o3o6my journey as a OAL orienteering department att.oac was funi did hm..quite alot of acts in campwent for 2 HE 1 tower 2 AR 2 LC 1 K&L 1 Pet rocket 1 Night hike 1 cruise and 1 astrolearn many many new games toohahaour thousand legged worm was super duper fun u noehahai am officially addicted to peanut butter biscuitsarr!!i dunnoe y too haha..its like super nc la hahaate and ate and ate lots of peanut butter biscuits in campfeel like a peanut butter freak now haha =Pfood was relatively nc toohahaate alotbut i guess i was anti-fruit in campdidnt eat ne fruits lehoops.. Pet rocketpet rocket was interesting its a new and fresh thing in camphahacuz last yr was solar cooking..which was relatively boring lapet rocket is like woah!!the rocket using water pressure being release into the air was super coolhahalooking at the others tryin to release the rocket and launch it into the sky was enjoyable.Knots and lashingswas relatively boring in my opinioncuz its juz slacking ard and assisting the campers on how to tie knots and allhahawe ended up taking turns to go bathe and came back for the shelter presentation for the grpstheir ideas were generally interestin concepts were goodHigh Elementsi did two times of HEsboth times on hanging logsoh wellhaf to keep reminding ppl to not depend on the rope but on the cablebut it was generally funcuz i like HEs alothahabut i ended up being super duper chaota!!arr!!!hey hanging log was quite funnycuz its pretty hard to get across the log without depending on the ropein the end most of them ended up depending on us belayers to sort of guide them across the coursesort of like they swing to the other side of the log if u noe wat i meanhahaTowerwas surpose to do 2 towers in one dayin the end afternoon i was transferred to do HE-hanging logs insteadarr!! so i only did the zip line thingyARR saddne way it was pretty stressful lahahaso..i missed doin abseiling okie!!in the end went to do the HE insteadlolwas surpose to do zipline later in the eveningbut it rainedso none of us get to try zip line arr sad!Night hikehey i learnt many many new things kalot of new knowledge about our singapore forest and its many many plants and treeshaahaawe also see a few boyboys!!hahaand one pair of girl girland lots of coupleshahait is our secret manlolgo there is to see if can find boyboys.lolARamazing race were held in day 4 and 5it was held in sentosaa race against the time to accomplish all tasks stretching across the whole of sentosawe the orienteering department ppl were split up to 2 diff grpsand haf to be at both ar and lc to supervise the grpsso i went AR in both mornings and LC for both afternoonsarrtiring it wasand imagine u haf to go pass so many food storesand cant buy ne thing frm themARRRmakes me drool and frustratedne wayhahai am like now quite familiar with sentosa already lasee lahahabut it was still generally ok laquite interestin loLCthe F&N thingy was funhahacuz we got to try out lots of foodhaha =Proad blocks were generally ok lait was also quite tiring like ARcuz got to do with lots of walking/running aroundesp with the time contraintbut oh wellits still quite a sucess rite?hahaCruiseari like the breezewe were all quite high in the "cruise"hahathe waves were nc tookusu island was nchahaalot of turtles and tortise lehhahaand tat place is generally more peaceful , haf a ultra nc beachand less crowdedit sounds so much better den sentosa laits juz tat there isnt much facilities there but it was okie hahaAstronomyi love star gazingsaw mars the moon taurus star and saturn againhahaalthough the sky wasnt the most perfect tat daybut i was still nchahaalthough we were surpose the dept on restbut we juz went there lafor star gazinghahacuz dun need to do nething mahaha =))Campfire!it was enjoyableeveri one was highand happyour item was quite okiehahathe fire ball thingy was super cooltotal sucess!!breaking camp-last dayit was chaoticprevious days we were all counting down to tis day hahait finally camelike wow..we were all sayinlike super fast den last day alreadywhich is like good!ne way we were veri high in the bus losinging diff songs all the way alaswe reached schdebrief and it was done at ard 1pm!oh yeahwe did billy banja ,reteke tenga and alot of cheersand den its the end of our journey as OALsit was realli fun and fruitful being a orienteering att.good memories are realli memorable seeing the activities that we plan all turn out to be a sucessrealli make us feel so happy abt itjia you for nxt yr and the many yrs down the road k ppl!
